Walt: write a recount with focus on “expensive” words.
My best holiday is when I went to the lovely Queenstown with my family. I had never been Queenstown before. We went there for my aunt's birthday. We all went down on vans. When we got there it was remarkably cold.
When we got to the house it was humongously big it had 5 bathrooms, 7 bedrooms, One indoor pool and outdoor, 3 garages and 3 levels plus the attic.
When we got all our rooms sorted we went into town to eat. It was a spectacular view of the mountains. All you could see was the white snow and clouds.
When we arrived at the restaurant it was very nice and fancy. I can’t remember what it was called but it had the most divine food ever. It was cooked to perfection and the drinks were very refreshing.
Then we finished our food then went back to the house. I was on the 3 level with my cousins.
The next day we had the birthdays, It was so cold when we woke up.
The view on the deck was spectacular. The first thing we all did was eat breakfast. Then we all got ready and went into town again to go on the gondolas. It was scary as in the gondolas so I hopped off.
We all finished with that then went back to the house. Dinner was ready so we washed our hands and said grace. We all dug in.
The cake came out and we started to sing happy birthday. The cake was chocolate cake. I didn't have any because I don’t like chocolate cake.
The next morning we left back to auckland. I fell asleep the whole way back.
I hope we can do that another time.
